About
Kelly Dean is a visual artist based in Auburn, California whose abstract work explores the connection between nature, movement, and emotion. Inspired by the trails she’s run and biked–especially around the American River Canyon and Mount Tamalpais–she uses acrylics, oils, cold wax, and textured mediums to create flowing, layered pieces meant to be both seen and felt. With a background in visual arts, graphic design, and massage therapy, her creative process is deeply intuitive and rooted in presence. She hopes to transport viewers into a space of authentic connection–with themselves, with nature, and with what lies beyond the surface.
Kelly earned her degree in Visual Arts from UC San Diego and built a successful career in graphic design before becoming a massage therapist, a profession she’s practiced for over 20 years. Her hands-on understanding of energy, healing, and presence deeply informs her art, with strokes that mirror breath, energy,
and flow.

"Kelly's artwork transformed my space; her abstract pieces are captivating and truly unique. I highly recommend her talent!"
